Co-Op

Posted by anm5926 On September - 12 - 2008

In the School of Print Media students are required to fulfill two quarters of cooperative education (co-op), which consists of ten weeks of employment within the media industry. The co-op program provides students with first-hand experience in the workforce and allows students to apply what they’ve learned in the classroom to real life applications. Co-ops offer students insight into a prospective career field and an opportunity to create professional contacts, develop career goals, and strengthen their resume. The strong reputation of RIT students encourages over 1,900 employers to recruit RIT students to work at their companies.
