Fall Open House: Saturday, November 14, 2009

8:30 – 9:00 Check-In: Gordon Field House (at 9:50 Check-In will move to the Student-Alumni Union Lobby)

9:00 – 9:50 Opening Session: Gordon Field House

10:00 – 11:30 Academic Meetings

Students will be escorted by department representatives to their first-choice academic major from the Opening Session.

11:00 – 1:30 Lunch Grace Watson Hall

A shuttle will be available from 11:00 – 4:00 between the Student-Alumni Union to Grace Watson Hall for tours & lunch.   (Many other dining locations will be advertised to visiting families as well.)

11:30 – 3:30 Campus
Tours-  Student-Alumni Union Lobby

A student-led 1-1/4 walking tour of the academic side of campus.

11:30 – 3:30 Residence Hall
Tours- Grace Watson Hall – Lobby

A self-guided walking tour of the residence halls.

11:30 – 3:30 Special Interest Housing Fair-
Nathaniel Rochester Hall (43) Room 1250

Representatives from RIT’s Special Interest Houses will be available to answer questions.

11:30 – 2:00 Student Services Fair- Student-Alumni Union Lobby

Representatives from across campus will be available to provide information on student services, clubs and organizations.

-Admissions and Financial Aid representatives will be available in the Student-Alumni Union lobby from 10:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. for families that have questions.

-Open House shuttles will be available from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.  Pick-up and drop-off locations include the Student-Alumni Union/Administration Circle, Grace Watson Hall, Academic Quad/Circle (North of Bldg. 17), and Barnes & Noble @ RIT.
